Benefits of meditation
In the foundation module Eric speaks frequently about some of the benefits of meditation.
The first time through the whole process of meditation I never experienced any of these supposed benefits however that time of my life was very emotional and it may be that meditating managed to keep me going at all as much of the time I wanted to give up and die.
This time through, after a full year complete break from all spirituality and having just returned a month or so ago….. things are very different!
The other night I sat down to read a book on myofascia, a book I have been trying to struggle through in my attempts to better my knowledge of the workings of the human body in my desire to be a successful CST Trainer
Previous times of reading this book I managed a page, maximum two before I could no longer focus and lost concentration, I also had to go back and read several times generally to even come close to getting it.
However this time I sat down and started reading and was suprised at how easy the information was assimilating… I was reading this book almost like a fictional novel! I was astounded, not only that but my girlfriend kept interrupting me to ask questions yet still I managed to keep focus……
It is just impressive to see this particular ‘benefit’ begin to occur.
As an aside also lately I have been feeling in increasingly high spirits, increasingly happy for myself rather than dependant on the circumstances of the day.
It is a good feeling.
